Starting an oral care pouch brand: launch checklist
Use one controlled checklist to align the brand brief, evidence, pack, production and delivery responsibilities.

Close the commercial and technical brief
Identify the brand team, contracting party, target countries, product positioning and budget assumptions. Choose a service scope and assign development, testing and approval responsibilities. A name and can design are only part of a product brief; the contents, instructions and supporting documents must match.
Approve a product, not a loose collection of files
Keep the formula, pouch drawing, pack count, can closure, artwork and specification in one versioned approval set. Check sample feedback, stability status, test methods and claim review. If evidence is still being collected, record what can be decided now and what must be complete before supply or sale.
Plan delivery and change control
Agree production release, retained samples, shipment conditions, batch documents and destination responsibilities. Keep a channel for complaints and investigation. Record how changes will be approved after launch. A product launch remains a business and market decision supported by technical evidence, rather than a guaranteed result of ordering packaging.
Working checklist

|---|---|---|
| Business | Scope, IP and contracting party | Responsibilities accepted |
| Technical | Formula, pouch and pack versions | Samples correspond to approved files |
| Evidence | Safety, stability and claim review | Open requirements resolved |
| Artwork | Market-specific approved label | Text and count match the product |
| Supply | Release and logistics records | Batch and delivery responsibilities clear |
