Name the sensory goal
Peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen, tea-mint and non-mint flavor requests are starting directions. The ingredient identity and target market still need review. Unflavored means a brief without added flavoring, not a guarantee that raw materials have no taste.
Separate flavor from cooling
A low cooling oral pouch can still have a distinct mint flavor. Sweetness, cooling, acidity, bitterness and aftertaste interact, while the fabric influences wet feel and release. Compare the time course of the sensation using the same conditions for each sample.
Evaluate change during storage
Flavor can migrate into packaging or change alongside moisture and ingredient reactions. Retain samples in the actual pack for the stability plan. A pleasant fresh sensation does not substantiate a therapeutic or antimicrobial claim, and non-mint does not guarantee that every user will find a formula mild.
What to send for review
- Destination countries and intended adult use
- Current formula or desired ingredient direction
- Flavor, cooling and pouch preferences
- Retail pack, count and artwork needs
- Number of SKUs, estimated quantity and target timing
If a quantity or requirement is still under evaluation, say so. The initial review can identify the information needed for a meaningful quotation. Confidential formulations should follow through an agreed channel after the project scope and confidentiality terms are established.
